I have a passion for metalwork and once caught a glimpse of someone using an English wheel (or wheeling machine as they are sometimes called). I decided I wanted a go and promptly booked myself onto a course with a leading panel making & restoration company, making wings and repair panels for Jaguar XK120's. I enjoyed the course so much I booked to go onto the advanced course and bought my own English Wheel. Below is a photograph of a 1935 Bentley 3½ litre fitted with a special body for which I made some of the panels.
